Once your GPS bring you here, park in the back lot. You can enter one of 2 ways. The first way is to head to the front of the building, up the stairs and in through the front door with the sign "The Nail Bar Collective" (Thats us!). The other way is through the back. You'll head up the ramp, through the door that says "Artista Beauty Studios," then when you enter the hallway you'll go through another door that says the same. Once inside the space, head all the way to the front and we'll be there! The back door is a great option if stairs aren't your jam or its raining.
Unfortunately, no. Not for sickness, snow, or your car breaking down. It is the nature of our business that we exclusively make money by appointments. When you book an appointment, we are both committing that time for you and ONLY you. When an appointment is canceled with less than 48 hours, it is extremely difficult and almost impossible to fill that spot and bring home the income we rely on. Imagine you are required to go into work, get there, and your boss tells you that you are not needed from 2-4 and you would not be paid for your time. This is how our businesses work. Providers lose a tremendous amount of money trying to be compassionate for peoples circumstances, but kindness and compassion will not pay the bills and we can’t afford to take the financial hit for peoples unfortunate circumstances. I hope this helps in your understanding of why we have these policies and we thank you for continuing to support us!
Yes, but new clients are restricted to how far out they are able to book.
For Britts regular clients, you will need the private booking link that will allow you to schedule up to 60 days out. NEW CLIENTS are only able to schedule 3 weeks in advance. If there are no openings in the next two days, you will have to continue to check daily. Britt is unable to accommodate ANY new client on a regular basis.
No, unless you have been specifically referred by another nail artist that uses Luminary Nail Systems for structured gel manicures. We DO NOT fill or remove other salons acrylics or hard gels due to many local salons using harmful ingredients (MMA). You can read more about the dangers of MMA in this article.
Unfortunately, Britt does not offer these services.
Nail services are not inherently damaging. Nail salons or other technicians using improper nail preparation or removal techniques can be very damaging to your natural nails. Overfiling your natural nail plate, agressive removal or peeling off your nails are the biggest culprit when it comes to damage to your natural nails. If you are coming to us with badly damaged nails, book a service add-on called "IBX nail repair and strengthening treatment" so we can repair those sad nails before moving onto your service.
While we check in every step of the way during your service, sometimes things don't always go as planned. If you have premature lifting or chipping on your service, please reach out to your stylist ASAP for guidance. Services should last 2 weeks minimum depending on home-care and lifestyle. I will always do my best to fix your issues! While I may offer to redo your service or discount your next service, that is up to my discretion. No refunds are given under any circumstance.
